A simple step-by-step guide to printing crisp, high-quality coloring pages from ColoringAny.
Open any coloring page on ColoringAny and click the "Download PDF" button. The file will save to your device. PDFs are the best format β they're high-resolution and print perfectly on Letter (8.5Γ11 in) or A4 paper.
Open the downloaded file in Adobe Acrobat Reader (free), Preview on Mac, or any PDF viewer. Avoid printing directly from the browser, as it can crop or scale the image incorrectly.
Go to File β Print. Set the paper size to Letter or A4, set orientation to Portrait, and choose "Fit to Page" or "Actual Size" (avoid scaling). Set print quality to "High" or "Best" for the crispest lines.
Load your preferred paper (see our paper guide below), hit Print, and you're ready to color. For the best results use white paper β even a slightly off-white sheet can affect how your colors look.
Use "Fit to Page" carefully
If the coloring page has a border, "Fit to Page" is fine. If you want the image edge-to-edge, enable Borderless Printing in your printer settings.
Print in Grayscale to save ink
All our pages are already black-and-white line art. Switching your printer to Grayscale mode saves colored ink and often prints faster.
Check your ink levels first
Low ink causes faint or patchy lines, which are frustrating to color. Print a test page if you're unsure.
Print multiple pages per sheet
For smaller coloring activities (e.g. for kids), use the "2 per sheet" option in your print dialog to get two pages on one sheet of paper.
Laminate finished artwork
Once colored, laminating the page preserves the artwork and makes it durable β great for gifts or classroom displays.
